Always a great experience with lovely food and extraordinary wine for an interesting price! The view over the vineyard is perfect, and the terrace allows for enough shade in the summer! The menus change weekly and give plenty of options for everyone, bringing good food to the table accompanied by amazing wine.
Absoluetly first class meal, excellent service and superb surroundings. The outdoor terrace looks across the estate's own vinyards to Argeles port and the sea. Beautifully relaxing place to eat. Despite appearances and the location the menu is very competitively priced and compares well with the average prices in Argeles. The bonus is the service and venue. The quality is consistent, this is our third visit, all equally enjoyable. A real bonus is the choice of wine priced at the same price as sold in the adjacent cellars. Keep up the excellent work.
It probably is a very good restaurant, but it closes at 14:00. We arrived at 14:20 and 70% of tables on the terrace were still full with people enjoying their wine. We kindly asked to be let in at least to have a glass of wine for a short time but they totally refused. I understand the time frame policy but humanly speaking this attitude will not make me come back here soon.
La table de Valmy is our favourite restaurant for the past 10 years. We have always enjoyed the magnificent heavenly setting overlooking the vineyards and Argeles to the glistening Mediterranean Sea and beyond from our restaurant table.
Today, despite booking 3 days in advance,
we were seated downstairs in an enclosed space which was completely devoid of any of the ambiance of the premier restaurant’s setting and magical views.
We loved the lunch, wine and service but when we mentioned the upset with our location we were met with a very insulting response from the manager.
Such a shame because we loved the place; however, the manager’s response has just altered our enjoyment and attitude to La table de Valmy

The place is very nice with a beautiful view of the vineyards and the sea coast beyond especially now that it's summer...with clear blue skies the view down to the coast line from the restaurant was breathtaking. The food is good I must say..but the portions were really a bit too small even for me who is not a big eater😏 My main dish of fish had 1 small "medaillon" and another bony one with nothing on it😣 The website with the menu was not updated on time either..had to call to find out the new one!
Another problem was the toilet..for both gents and ladies..too small to accommodate everyone.. especially families coming along with children and babies..not very convenient either. 😑..Hope they attend to the gripes...
Beautiful place, but the kitchen wasn’t that good. I ordered beginner and main. While the main dish was good, the beginner didn’t convince us. My girlfriend ordered a vegetarian main dish which was not on the menu and received a VERY small amount of roasted veggies, no starchy carb source. The whole thing was probably around 100kcal.
For the price, the food does not hold up well. Wine was good.
